Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho says he is already planning the Spanish club's program for next season following its poor start to the current campaign.
The reigning Spanish league champions are trailing leader Barcelona by eight points after four rounds, having only won a single match.
Madrid's preparations this season were disrupted by the European Championship and FIFA's international friendlies in August, an annual event that Mourinho says all clubs dislike.
The Portuguese coach says: "When us coaches gather at UEFA talks we all agree on how terrible it is."
Mourinho says "every little detail" of 2013-14 preseason planning is being made "already because players showing up days before the start of the league is not perfect."
