Australian golfer Rebecca Flood remains in the mix going into the final round of the Ladies Open in Austria.
The 22-year-old from Coonabarabran in New South Wales added a second round of two under par 70 to her opening 67 to finish on seven under par at the 54-hole Ladies European Tour event, four behind the leader Kaisa Ruuttila of Finland.
Flood, one of eight tied for the lead after the opening round, was nine under after four birdies in her first 15 holes at Golf Club Fohrenwald in Wiener Neustadt, but took a double-bogey seven at the last hole after hitting her third shot into water.
"I played really solid golf all day," Flood said.
"I hit a lot of greens and fairways and gave myself birdie opportunities. I made some good birdies and a couple of good par saves. I just made a bad mistake on the last but other than that, for two days it's been solid."
Her best finish in two seasons on the Ladies European Tour was a tie for 12th at the Open de France last year and she will hope to improve on that before getting married to Geoff Artis in late January.
Ruuttila, 28, was in the group of overnight leaders but carded a second round 66 to move one shot clear of Frenchwoman Caroline Afonso (67).
